BFG Videocards

We have just received news from our local suppliers, corroborating the recent news in the US regarding BFG.

A missive on BFG Tech letterhead explains the situation:
"BFG Technologies Inc. is in the process of winding down and liquidating its business. As a result, we are returning your graphics card without being able to repair it. We apologize for the inconvenience."
"After eight years of providing innovative, high-quality graphics cards to the market, we regret to say that this category is no longer profitable for us, although we will continue to evaluate it going forward", said John Slevin, chairman of BFG Technologies.
BFG is no longer providing warranty support for its graphics cards, and customers are getting back their defective products unrepaired:

EVGA Classified SR-2

HotHardware just had a look at the EVGA Classified SR-2 platform, and had this to say:
“There are no other 5520-chipset based motherboards currently available (that we can find, at least) that offer the kind of features and flexibility that the SR-2 does."
