Below you will find information regarding the various payment methods we accept.

CASH ON PICKUP

You can always pay cash when you pickup your goods. Remember that EFTPOS is not CASH, so select EFTPOS instead if you want to pay using EFTPOS.

(There is NO surcharge for CASH/EFTPOS/DIRECT DEPOSIT payments)

EFTPOS

Please select this payment method if you want to pay for your order using our EFTPOS facility. We accept all EFTPOS cards. Paying by EFTPOS is only available for pickup only.

** IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE READ - EFTPOS WITHDRAW LIMIT **
 
Just like any ATM machines, our EFTPOS terminal also have the same DAILY WITHDRAWAL LIMIT OF $800-$1000. (To be accurate, you can ch
eck your withdawal limit with your bank).
So when placing your order, please make sure you are aware of this limits.  You can request to increase your withdrawal limit by contacting your bank. 

Direct Deposit

We recommend paying by direct deposit as the best payment method to save you from the bank's credit card surcharge fee. Our banking details are as follows:

ATTENTION: Please wait till your Order number has been issued and make sure you use the order number and your surname for your direct deposit payment reference details and forward us a copy of your payment receipt to speed up the process of verifying . Failing to do so will result in your order being delayed.


** BPAY is now available. You can use BPAY for the added convenience and security to ensure your payment will be paid to the correct account. However there will be a 1% bank surcharge fee added to your order and the payment turnaround time is quicker, typically within 24 hours.


Payments made through other banks (such as National, Commonwealth, ANZ, etc) may take up to 24-48 hours to be shown in our account. We must wait for the funds to be showing as cleared fund in our account before we can ship out or release any orders. If your bank is Westpac or Bank of Melbourne, your direct deposit will normally appear immediately but it may take up to 24 hours to show up depending on whether you have made a payment to us previously or not.
Alternatively, if you want a deposit payment to show up immediately, go to any Westpac bank and do a 'cash' deposit. This will allows the fund to show up in our account instantly and thus allowing us to process and despatch your order as soon as possible. You must make sure that a cash deposit is done at Westpac, otherwise an inter-bank processing delay of up to 48 hours may occur. For direct deposit orders, you may proceed with full payment if all items in your order is in stock otherwise please beware that we still need to confirm your order for availability details on non stocked items.

*Internet banking transfer is also subjected to daily withdrawal limit, you can contact your bank to increase this limit* If you make a split/part payment, please use the same description on all payments.

Credit Card - On Pickup

If you would like to pay using your credit card when you pickup please choose this payment method and you must be present with your card when you are picking up from our store and we will process the card in store.

Paying by credit card incurs a 2% surcharge for VISA/Mastercard, and 4% for Diners/AMEX on top of your total cost.

We at Scorpion Technology work very hard to prevent credit card fraud. We do not manually process your credit card payment, it is electronically done so stolen card numbers will be automatically checked on our system. Our credit card/eftpos machines are using the latest security technology. For your safety, we will call you to get the credit card details. Althought we can process phone orders, we may refuse orders paid by credit cards over the phone unless all your contact details can been verified. We reserve the right to seek for approvals for using credit cards and refuse payment by credit card under any circumstances, also if necessary we may request a fax of the credit card detail before releasing the goods.

If you are picking up on behalf of someone else who is paying, please download the authorisation form below, the person picking up must also be providing a photo ID which we will be photocopying as a proof of pickup. The creditcard holder detail will be verified and must be approved first by us before you can come to collect the goods.

Credit Card - Call Me

CREDIT CARD CALL ME
If you would like to pay using your credit card and prefer to have Scorptec staff call you rather than giving your creditcard information online, please select this payment method.

We do not manually process your credit card payment, it is electronically done so stolen card numbers will be automatically checked on our system. Our credit card/eftpos machines are using the latest security technology. We reserve the right to seek for approvals for using credit cards and refuse payment by credit card under any circumstances, also if necessary we may request a fax of the credit card detail before releasing the goods. Please ensure you have provided adequate information to establish your identity as unlisted number/address will delay the processing of your order.

*IMPORTANT NOTICE - TOKEN VERIFICATION/PRE-AUTHORISATION
As part of our verification process, once we have entered your creditcard details on our system, your creditcard will be 'pre-authorised' with a random small amount less than $5 which will appear and disappear within 5 days. A pre-authorised amount is only reserved, not withdrawn from your creditcard, it is used for the purpose of validating and verifying the credit card number to make sure they are valid and has not been cancelled. Your creditcard number is NOT stored in your account, it is stored securely and locally on our server using the latest encyrption technology. Therefore customers will always be required to enter their creditcard details each time they place their order. We only process the final amount from the order on the day the order is completed, not when customer placed the order.

Cash On Delivery

For Cash on deliveries, we offer Australia POST COD as a payment service for shipping small items only (less than 3kg), valued under $500. This payment method cost require the customer to collect the goods and pay at their local post office.

BPAY

Telephone & Internet Banking - BPAY
Call your bank, credit union or building society to make this payment from your cheque, savings or credit card account.

BPAY is the most secure payment method for customers because you can pay using your creditcard or savings/cheque account using your own online/phone banking account. Funds transferred using BPAY is also faster to show up in our account (less than 24 hours, in normal business days) if compared to paying using direct deposit which can take up to 24-48 hours. In offering BPAY as a payment facility to our customers, unfortunately there are some bank fees involved per transaction and for that we have to charge you a 1% surcharge fee on top of your order. The good news is that it is still 1%-3% cheaper compared to if you are paying directly using your creditcard on our website. The benefit of paying using your credit card online on our website is it can be processed immediately, but if you are a new customer, you'll be subjected to our creditcard verification process which can take up to 24-48 hours.

We recommend that you use BPAY only if you want to save yourself the higher fees, or for security and when your order is not so urgent and you can wait for the payment to show up in our account within 24 hours. If you are paying using creditcard and your billing/delivery details can not be verified, we may also ask that you use BPAY instead.
