Payment Methods

Below you will find information regarding the various payment methods we accept.

Cash Last updated: 18-Mar-2010

  • We accept cash payment. Please be reminded that EFTPOS is not cash.
  • There is no surcharge for CASH payments

 

EFTPOS Last updated: 18-Mar-2010

  • There is no surcharge for EFTPOS payments
  • Our EFTPOS terminals have the same daily withdrawal limit of $800-$1000 as ATM machines.
  • When selecting your payment option, please be aware of this limit. 
  • You can always check your EFTPOS withdrawal limit with your bank, and request an increase. 
  • Paying by EFTPOS is available for pickup only. Cash outs are not available.

Direct Deposit Last updated: 18-Mar-2010

  • There is no surcharge for Direct Deposit payments.

  • Before making any payment, please wait till your order number has been issued (not still showing as TBA) and make sure you put down the order number as the payment reference.
  • Once paid, you can log into your Scorptec Account and go to your order to enter your payment details such as amount paid and transaction reference in your order. This will allow us to process your order first by being able to easily identify your payment.
  • Direct deposit made through non-Westpac banks may take up to 48 hours to be shown in our account. 
  • If paid from a Westpac bank, your direct deposit should appear within 24 hours
  • If you do a cash deposit at any Westpac branch the funds will show up in our account within 24 hours.
  • If you make a cash deposit at a non-Westpac branch, an inter-bank processing delay of up to 48 hours may occur.
  • All funds need to be cleared by our bank before orders are dispatched or released.
  • Internet banking transfer is also subject to a daily withdrawal limit, you can contact your bank to increase this limit
  • If you made a split/part payment, please use the same description on all payments (order number, surname)

Credit Card - On Pickup Last updated: 19-Mar-2010

  • Please choose this payment method if paying by credit card in-store.
  • Paying by credit card incurs a 2% surcharge for VISA/Mastercard and 4% for Diners/AMEX on top of your total cost.
  • The credit card holder must be present in order for us to verify signature on the back of the card.
  • In the unlikely event that you are sending someone else to pick up your order and cannot present the card, please download the credit card authorisation form below. The person picking up the order must provide their driver license which we will photocopy as proof of pickup. The credit card holder’s details will be verified by us first before the goods can be collected.

Credit Card - Call Me Last updated: 18-Mar-2010

  • For customers who do not wish to enter their credit card details online, please select this option and we will call you when your order is received.
  • Credit card payments will incur a 2% surcharge when paid by VISA/Mastercard or 4% for Diners/AMEX.
  • For first time credit card customers we will always call and request to speak to the credit card holder. The name, address and phone number on the order must match the listing on White Pages. This is a necessary security measure to help us verify your credit card details over the phone. Any unlisted number/address may delay the processing of your order.
  • We do not accept credit cards over email. 
  • If we are unable to verify your details as above, we will need to verify your credit card by using our 'token verification' method. You will need to confirm a small 'random amount' less than $3 temporarily placed on your credit card for 5 days to verify that you are the rightful owner of the credit card. We do appreciate your patience and understanding during this once-off verification process. Please call your bank/credit card institution and ask for the amount that been 'reserved' or temporarily charged. Once your credit card has been 100% verified your orders will no longer be subjected to any further credit card verification.
  • We do take our credit card security and verification seriously. Any attempts at credit card fraud will be immediately reported to police.

  • Credit card payments will incur a 2% surcharge when paid by VISA/Mastercard or 4% for Diners/AMEX.
  • The benefit of paying using your credit card online on our website is it can be processed immediately, but if you are a new customer, you will be subjected to our credit card verification process which can take up to 24-48 hours.
  • Your credit card payment will be electronically processed and verified so any invalid/expired/reported stolen card numbers will be automatically rejected and flagged on our system. 
  • For first time credit card customers we will always call and request to speak to the credit card holder. The name, address and phone number on the order must match the listing on White Pages. This is a necessary security measure to help us verify your credit card details over the phone. Any unlisted number/address may delay the processing of your order.
  • We do not accept credit cards over email.

Cash On Delivery Last updated: 26-Mar-2010

 

  • For Cash on deliveries, we offer Australia POST COD as a payment service for shipping small items only (less than 3kg), valued under $500. 
  • This payment method requires the customer to collect the goods and pay at their local post office.
     

 

BPAY Last updated: 18-Mar-2010

SECURITY WARNING: Due to an increase in online banking fraud, we advise that all 'first time' customers using BPAY as payment will be fully verified first before orders can be dispatched, so there could be a minor delay as a result. Any fraudulent or suspicious activities will be reported to the law enforcement authorities immediately.

  • Our Biller Code is: 73155
  • BPAY will attract a 1% surcharge fee on top of your order.
  • BPAY customers can pay by credit card or from an online/phone banking account. 
  • Funds transferred using BPAY show up in our account in 24 hours, during normal business days.
